Halsema Pickling Co. was born from family time in the kitchen, just a dad and his kids making pickles for fun. Over time, those batches got better. The recipe got sharper. And the question from friends kept coming: “Where can I buy these?”

So we made it official.

Based in Charlotte, NC, and crafted just across the border in Rock Hill, SC, our pickles are hand-packed in small batches using the freshest ingredients. We’ve done the hard work—full FDA and state certifications, tested shelf stability, and every jar labeled with pride—so that you can enjoy pickles the way they were meant to be: bold, crisp, and ridiculously satisfying.

We have evolved this from a family hobby to a family run business. Josh runs Halsema Pickling Co. with his kids Colin and Lea, long time friend Kim, who has encouraged Josh for 10 years to start a business. Josh’s dad Mike also helps, being generous with his time and support and shares his years of experience in food handling.
